This privacy policy sets out how BookBubbles (“we”) use and protect any information that you give us when you use this website and when you purchase from us. We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Information is collected from you in order to process your purchase when you register with us, such as your name and contact information including e-mail address, billing and delivery addresses, telephone number and payment details. We may also collect demographic information such as postcode and, if you actively sign-up to our newsletter, preferences and interests, and other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers or products.

This website is not intended for under 18s and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

  • services providers – We use WooCommerce to power our online store, Stripe to process your payments and third party fulfilment, postal and courier providers.

If you sign up to our newsletter, we will share this information with MailChimp, the organisation who manages our newsletter subscription database.

It may sometimes be necessary to transfer personal information overseas, for example if you are sending your order abroad. Any transfers made will be in full compliance with all aspects of the data protection act.

In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures and policies to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. In addition, our website payment facility uses Stripe, which has the highest level of card data security. You can therefore rest assured that we take the privacy and security of your payment and personal details very seriously.

You can tell whether a page is secure as ‘https’ will replace the ‘http’ at the front of the website address and a small padlock will appear next to this or in the bottom bar of your browser window.


Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website.
