We had a lovely evening discussing our shared book, Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin (see reviews page), followed by watching the film adaptation of The Light Between Oceans by ML Stedman, one of our favourite books of 2023. I’m always bit apprehensive about film adaptations of books I really enjoyed, but I’m pleased to report that we weren’t disappointed. And, even though we knew what was going to happen, it still made a few of us cry so be prepared!
