The Long Call

In North Devon a detective stands outside the chapel as his father’s funeral takes place. The day he left the strict community he grew up in, he lost his family too. Now he’s back and about to take charge of his first major case in the area – a place not quite as idyllic as tourists imagine.  A body, with a tattoo of an albatross on the neck, has been found on the beach. His focus on finding the killer will take him back into the community he left behind and the secrets that lurk there.
